RT-specific Safety Precautions

Radiation Testing Specific Safety Precautions are governing guidelines created by the federal Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to keep ionizing radiation doses contained within specific parameters. Ionizing radiation is commonly used in NDT procedures, but it can pose a significant safety risk. These guidelines allow only small doses of the substance to be used within a given time period.
