Heat shrink system for terminals and end splices

The DERAY®-Shuttle 240 / 60 is a heat shrink system with infrared heating elements to process heat shrink tubes onto terminals and end splices.
The shrink device has two independent working stations, equipped with customized frames to shrink up to 20 applications per cycle.

Operation

The shrink device DERAY®-Shuttle 240 / 60 has two frames for manual insertion of cables previously fitted with heat shrink tubing. After one frame has been swung into the heating zone of DERAY®-Shuttle 240 / 60 an automatic shrinking process begins. Two infrared ceramic elements heat the shrink tube. During the shrinking process the operator continues to load/ unload the second frame. Following the shrinking process, a cooling cycle is activated and the applications are cooled by fans.
