Hot air shrink equipment with an automatic outer diameter detector

The DERAY®-WorkMan TP ADE is a hot air shrink equipment with an automatic outer diameter detector (ADE) for cables designed to process adhesive lined heat shrink tubes onto end splices.
This universal appliance can be used for both pre-assembly and wire harness production purposes. It is used for processing shrink tubes for longitudinal waterproofi ng on end splices, as well as for insulation and mechanical protection.

Applications

End splices

Operation

The teached-in end splice is set into the outer diameter recognition device (ADE) and is closed. The software automatically determines the correct shrink parameters. The mobile shrink unit moves into the shrink position and the shrink process begins. At the end of the process, the shrink unit will move back to its ready position. The application is cooled and the ADE unit opens and releases the finished end splice. The cooling helps to ensure that the inserted applications are soon ready for further processing and quickly hardens the emerging adhesive.
