Nature has always played a role in wastewater treatment. When the owners of an Oregon RV park recently upgraded their septic system, they wanted to offset their carbon footprint as much as possible. They worked with engineers to develop a solution that incorporated patented technology using tree roots for tertiary wastewater treatment.
