The U.S. men's curling team won gold in the 2018 Winter Olympics. This is the first gold medal game in the Olympics - and first-ever gold medal - for the Americans. Congratulations to John Landsteiner and #TeamShuster on their historic achievement!
The 23rd Olympic Winter Games begin Friday, February 9, 2018 in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Sporting events will take place for two weeks and conclude on Sunday, February 25.
Shawcor employee John Landsteiner is representing Team USA again in the 2018 Winter Olympics. A project manager with Lake Superior Consulting, John will be competing in the men’s team curling event. He is a second-time Olympian and made his Olympic debut in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.
Leading up to the 2018 Olympics, John and his team claimed a bronze medal at the 2016 World Championships.
