HBE-95

The Benchmark

HBE-95TM is an advanced two-component epoxy coating system which has been specifically formulated for pipelines worldwide. Applied to bare steel, HBE-95 has proven to withstand operating temperatures up to 95°C (302°F) with superior performance. HBE-95 is used for protection of pipeline field joint girth welds, valves and fittings, as a holiday repair material on FBE-coated pipe or for pipeline coating rehabilitation projects. This environmentally friendly, 100% solids, novolac epoxy system can either be spray-applied or brush-applied to the intended substrate.

 

HBE-HT™

High Temperature

HBE-HT is a state-of-the-art two-component epoxy coating system which has been specifically formulated for high-temperature pipelines. Applied to bare steel, HBE-HT has proven to withstand operating temperatures up to 150°C (302°F) with exceptional performance. HBE-HT is used for protection of pipeline field joint girth welds, valves and fittings, as a holiday repair material on FBE-coated pipe or for pipeline coating rehabilitation projects. This superior, 100% solids, novolac epoxy system can either be spray-applied or brush-applied to the intended substrate.

 

HBE-OS™

Offshore

HBE-OS is the only liquid coating of its kind serving the offshore marketplace. It is a two-component epoxy coating system specifically formulated to withstand immediate force curing at high build thicknesses, and achieve superior mechanical performance and corrosion resistance. The HBE-OS coating design allows for the fastest offshore cycle-times and protects operating pipelines up to 120°C (248°F). This environmentally friendly, 100% solids, novolac epoxy system can either be spray-applied or brush-applied to the intended bare steel substrate.

 

HBE-DX™

Directional Drill

HBE-DX is a robust liquid epoxy coating system specifically designed to protect field joint girth welds during directional drilling pipeline construction. The formulation presents high properties of gouge resistance, tensile elongation, impact strength and ease of build. Applied as a standalone direct-to-steel coating system, HBE-DX has proven to withstand pipe operating temperatures up to 95°C (203°F) with excellent anti-corrosion performance. This environmentally friendly, 100% solids, novolac epoxy system can either be spray-applied or brush-applied to the intended substrate.

 

HBE-ARMOR™

Abrasion Overcoat

HBE-ARMOR is a heavy-duty liquid ARO (Abrasion-Resistant Overcoat) system designed to protect Fusion Bond Epoxy (FBE) coated mainline pipe. It is a two-component epoxy formulated with one of the toughest minerals on earth to act as a true armor over top of FBE. HBE-ARMOR can protect FBE mainline and liquid epoxy field joint coatings during directional drilling, thrust bores, river crossings and other rough terrain conditions. This environmentally friendly, 100% solids, epoxy coating can either be spray-applied or brush-applied to FBE in the plant or field. It should not be applied direct-to-steel.

 

ATOMIZER™

Spray Application

The Canusa Atomizer Gun is an advanced pneumatic dispenser designed to spray apply our 2-component HBE for standalone corrosion protection systems, and/or liquid epoxy types for 3-layer corrosion protection systems. The gun is capable of applying liquid coatings faster, easier, with less clean up, with less applicator error and with minimal equipment maintenance versus conventional brush and spray install methods. The atomizer gun and cartridge system allows applicators to produce a coating thickness that is both consistent and repeatable.
