Providing pipeline corrosion protection and creep resistance through a self-healing adhesive system
All of our corrosion protection coatings are formulated to perform well in a variety of conditions. Quick to install, they provide consistent, reliable protection from moisture and air.
These coatings consist of modified and reinforced viscoelastic adhesive-based systems applied onto a carrier material.
Supplied in roll form, WrapidBond® provides effective corrosion protection by providing a barrier to water and oxygen. WrapidBond® is for use on aboveground and underground pipelines. WrapidCoat® PVC and WrapidCoat® PE are tough, polyvinyl chloride and polyethylene-based tape with special high-tack adhesive formulated as the outer wrap for WrapidBond® viscoelastic coated pipe.
WrapidBond® FST is a corrosion protection coating consisting of a modified and reinforced viscoelastic adhesive. It is supplied as a viscoelastic compound in paste form and is available in a number of forms including a 2mm thick x 50mm wide tape, a 0.45kg extruded bar or in a 2.0kg tube. WrapidBond® FST provides effective corrosion protection by providing a barrier to water and oxygen. WrapidBond® FST is for use on aboveground and underground pipelines and steel structures.
Viscoelastic Heat Shrink
The GTS-PP-VE™ system provides excellent long-term adhesion and superior mechanical protection performance for subsea pipelines coated with a wide range of anti-corrosion mainline coatings.
GTS-PP-VE™ is a wraparound, corrosion-protective product consisting of a high-performance polypropylene backing and a viscoelastic adhesive. This combination results in fast installation cycle times, excellent adhesion properties and superior mechanical resistance properties. The low preheat temperature and wire brush (St 2) surface preparation requirements allow for a consistent and quick installation.
