Dual-Layer Abrasion Resistant Overcoat Fusion Bond Epoxy
Dual-Layer Abrasion Resistant Overcoat (ARO) FBE systems provide excellent protection of pipelines for a variety of service applications which may include; directional drilling and anti-abrasion for road and river crossings, resistance to mechanical handling, as well as for elevated temperature service in wet environments.
Long Term Corrosion Protection
The superior adhesion properties of the FBE anti-corrosion coating provide excellent resistance to cathodic disbondment, reducing the cost of cathodic protection during the operation of the pipeline.
Excellent abrasion and impact resistance
This system provides excellent abrasion and impact resistance and sufficient flexibility to protect against possible damage during pipe transportation, pipeline construction, as well as for road bores and directional drill installations
High operating temperature capabilities
Dual-layer FBE provides excellent adhesion to steel, providing superior long term corrosion resistance and protection of pipelines operating up to 110°C, including for wet conditions
Improved handling characteristics
The system provides tough physical properties that minimize damage during handling, transportation, installation and operation.
Global Availability
The system can be manufactured in a single plant or multiple coating plants to improve project logistics.
