Thermapipe® is a molded polyurethane foam system developed for external protection and Flow Assurance of steel, galvanized, clad, stainless steel, HDPE or fiberglass pipe.

System Description:

  • Layer 1: Anticorrosion - Fusion Bonded Epoxy/ Primer
  • Layer 2: Insulation - Molded Polyurethane Foam
  • Layer 3: Mechanical Protection UV?- Solid PE or Spiral Steel Jacket

Superior Insulation Properties & Unmatched Mechanical Properties

  • The Polyurethane foam reduces heat loss to prevent hydrate formation in gas pipelines and helps to maintain viscosity in hot oil lines without any limitations on coating thickness.
  • This product is widely used both onshore and offshore (up to 75 m depth) applications. The outer jacket acts both a s a mechanical protection and a water barrier.
